solutions, today announced the release of VisualBASE EDMTM version 4.0.
With the addition of the recent releases of VB-Index for image indexing
and VB-Clean for image processing, the VisualBASE product suite provides a
full range of scanning workflow tools for easy implementing of a document
management system.
VisualBASE EDMTM is a Windows based
engineering document management solution that provides an easy to use,
secure environment to store, locate, and manage the vital information
contained in engineering documents. Through integrated state-of-the-art
components, VisualBASE EDM delivers powerful services for viewing,
redlining, printing, raster editing and CAD conversion. The new VisualBASE
EDM 4.0 release includes many new features such as; an Explorer-like
folder and file approach that is both familiar and intuitive, added
flexibility to accommodate more complex database structures using
"Groups" to make the document relationships more visual, and an
import wizard for importing data from VB-Index or other database sources.
VisualBASE EDM 4.0 is the culmination of
