announces the immediate availability of the new Rocket Rip Server.

A
powerful controller that works with several high-quality large
format printers from leading manufacturers, the Rocket Rip Server
provides high speed processing with AMD Athalon processors. An
optimized architecture yields a combination of value and performance
delivering the optimum from large format printers. Other RIPs need
to process the image first, the Rocket RIP starts to print the image
as soon as data processing begins.
The
unique DaylightRIP software interface is easy to use and ensures
great color “out of the box”. The Rocket RIP Server allows ease
of calibration, the ability to interface with different
applications, and streamlined job administration using some of the
following features:

Unique
3D closed-loop calibration for fast and easy results.

Client/server
architecture offers access from many different platforms and
file types through the PPD and client interfaces. Allows your
network to take files from different sources and have them
automatically RIPed and printed.

for unlimited client licenses per server.

Nesting
feature allows users to manually nest jobs of any page size,
maximizing media usage.

Paneling
feature allows users to specify portions or panels of images for
combining later. Perfect for images that are larger than media.

DaylightRIP’s
built in accounting and user management tool logs all
job-relevant data, like copy count, scaling, paper use, time
consumed on a job or the amount of data processed. It also
tracks ink usage. Passwords or hardware key manages user
authentication. DaylightRIP connects user’s names to
individual jobs. The accounting log is available as ASCII file
or as an Excel export.
