Finishing
Services |
|
Our Finishing department provides several finishing options to complete your project. Prints can be mounted on a sturdy backing using the dry mounting or cold mounting processes. Mounting provides a professional, finished appearance to all types of reprographic prints making them excellent for displays and presentations. Also available are a variety of framing options that will give your prints a well-finished professional appearance. The materials most commonly chosen for dry mounting are described below: |
|
Mounting Material
|
|
Foam Board |
Foam board is a low cost soft
surface material which provides a neat and professional finish. A word of
caution: Because foam board absorbs humidity, it can warp. Therefore, it's
ideal for smaller prints or prints which will be used the same day. It is
not recommended for large prints that will be used for a long period of
time.
|
|
Gator Board |
Gator board is a premium hard
surface mounting material. Because it is very rigid, it's ideal for larger
prints. Plastic or aluminium edging can be applied to the unfinished edge
to give your piece a crisp, professional look.
|
|
Sintra |
Sintra is a high density, very
strong and rigid PVC material. Because Sintra is flexible, yet rigid, it's
often used in trade show booth displays. A wide variety of colors are
available.

|
Laminating
|
|
Offered are choices
in matte, luster, gloss, scratch-resistant and dry-erase finishes. Laminates
can be chosen for resistance to UV, heat, cold or humidity. Laminates can
used for flexible, rigid, and applications suitable for either indoor or
outdoor use. |
